"A Family for All of God's Children"
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
Christian Church of Latter Rain is a bible-believing, spirit-led family of believers that hold forth the ideals of the 1st Century Church with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone of his church.
"Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field." ~ Zechariah 10:1

We believe that every scripture is inspired by God for the purposes of doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness to lead to full maturity and thoroughly furnished unto all good works. The teaching of the Bible takes precedence over church traditions or human opinions. We obey no creed but Christ and no book but the Bible. All that we do in word and deed is guided by the principles of the word of God. It is the final authority on all that we do.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 John 5:2-3
Prayer is the means by which we deepen our relationship with God. In prayer, we praise God, thank him for his blessings, confess our sins, seek his help, and intercede for others.
Matthew 7:7-11; Colossians 4:2
Our experience of God’s loving grace causes us to share his love with others by encouraging them, healing their hurts, and meeting their needs. We place the needs of others before our own needs.
Matthew 22:39; John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8-10
Those who have been united with Christ are also united with each other. We seek to strengthen the relationships within the body of Christ so that God’s people will support each other and minister to each other. We promote strong marriages, healthy families, and deep friendships.
Acts 2:44-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12- 27
The church should be characterized by love, both for God and for one another. This includes demonstrating love through acts of service, caring for those in need, and promoting unity and reconciliation among believers.
John 13:34-35
We are a ministry that believes in endeavoring for the faith and striving to grow up in the Lord. We encourage and promote growth in all areas of life, spiritual, academic, financial, emotional, etc.
Ephesians 4:12-16; 2 Peter 3:18
The members of the Christian Church of Latter Rain actively serve the Lord and each other to ensure that everyone has a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment to grow in the Lord. By serving on these volunteer teams, members grow both naturally and spiritually by learning to work and stay together to do the work of the ministry and build up the Body of Christ.
"From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love." ~ Ephesians 4:16
Christian Church of Latter Rain is a generous community. Please give as much as you are able to help us with our mission of transforming lives in Philadelphia and beyond. You can easily donate online or contribute during each of our services. “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller” (Proverbs 11:24).
Thank you for your faithful support.
