MEET OUR PASTOR

ABOUT PASTOR JEAN RAYMOND PHARAUD

Jean Raymond Pharaud has been preaching since 1980 as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Pastor, Bible Study Group Leader, and Deacon in the Christ Sanctified Church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and has been in pastoral ministry since 1990. Pastor Pharaud served as an associate minister of the First Church of Brooklyn for three years, as senior pastor of Christian Church of Latter Rain of West

Philadelphia for nineteen years, and Overseer of Christian Church of Latter Rain of Wilkes-Barre and Lancaster for the past seven years. 

Pastor Pharaud was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti but has lived in Philadelphia, PA for the past nineteen years where he also worked as a French Teacher of the Laboratory Charter School of Communications and Languages. He studied at the Borough of Manhattan Community College where he received his Associates Degree in Social Services. He later attended the City College in New York where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services.

An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Pharaud is known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.

He and his wife, Simone, have been married since 1984.
